Custom Calming Donut Plush Bed for Private Label & Wholesale
The calming donut form is the dominant round-bed silhouette in Western markets.
Product Overview
The donut is the dominant round-bed shape in Western markets, and the reason is behavioural: the raised rim gives a dog something to press against and tuck its nose into, which is how many dogs settle. Long-pile plush over a PP fibre fill gives the depth that makes the shape read properly in a photograph.
It is a forgiving product to manufacture and a strong one to sell - diameters from 40 to 100 cm cover every size of dog from one pattern. Pile length is the lever that most changes both cost and perceived quality, so it is worth sampling two before you decide. Colourway and diameter complete the specification.

Who This Product Suits
Own-brand comfort ranges
Beds carry the highest ticket in most pet ranges, and construction - foam grade, wall height, cover fabric - gives a brand something concrete to talk about.
Senior and orthopedic positioning
Memory foam and support claims reach an owner who is buying for a specific need and is far less price-sensitive.
Seasonal retail
Bolster and high-wall formats peak in autumn and winter, which makes them a reliable Q4 driver alongside blankets.
Distributors
Removable covers and a clear size ladder reduce returns, which is what decides whether a bulky category is profitable.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We start at 100 pieces. The real figure moves with the specification - a colour change sits at the low end, while a custom mould, a bespoke size ladder or a new material needs more volume to be worth running. Your exact MOQ is confirmed in the quotation rather than guessed at here.
Can the cover be removable and washable?
On most constructions yes, and we recommend it - a washable cover is the single feature that most reduces returns and complaints in this category. It adds a zip and a little cut-and-sew time, which we show in the quotation.
This is bulky - how does that affect freight?
Volume, not weight, sets the cost on bulky goods, so packing matters more than it does elsewhere in the range. We quote the packed dimensions openly, consolidate your order into one shipment, and where the construction allows it we can look at flat-packing or compression packing to cut the cubic metres you pay for.
What can we change about the filling?
Filling is where the cost and the feel both live. PP fibre, shredded foam, solid memory foam and high-density support foam all behave differently and sit at different prices. Tell us the retail price you are aiming at and we will suggest the construction that gets there.
Can we see a sample before we commit?
Yes, two ways. If the item is a stock design you pay the shipping only, with any customs charges billed at cost. For a customised sample we need about 15 days to build it, with 70% of the sample cost up front and the balance on approval. The approved sample becomes the production standard.
