Terms of supply

How we quote, sample, produce and deliver — written down, so there are no surprises at the PI stage.

This page sets out the standing commercial terms we work to on every programme. It is a plain-language summary, not the contract: the quotation and proforma invoice we issue for your specific order carry the binding figures and dates, and they take precedence wherever the two differ.

1 — Quotations and pricing

Every price is quoted against your specification

We do not publish prices. Unit cost in this category moves with material grade, construction, size ladder, print method, packaging and order quantity, so a list price would be wrong for almost every buyer who read it. Send us the specification and we return a quotation sheet instead.

2 — Minimum order quantity

MOQ 100 pcs, with two honest caveats

One hundred pieces per product is the floor we work to, and it is what makes a first private-label run realistic for a small brand. It is not a universal number.

What moves the MOQ

Stock product, your logo on the packaging only

lowest

Stock product, logo printed or woven on the item

low

Existing mould, your own colour and material

medium

New mould or a bespoke construction

highest

Indicative ranking only. The figure that counts is the one in your quotation.

3 — Samples

Two sample routes

Option A — stock sample

Option B — custom sample

Written sample approval is what starts the production clock. We will not open a production order on a verbal yes.

4 — Production and lead time

One to three months after sample approval

Mass production runs one to three months from the date you approve the sample, depending on product complexity. A printed nylon collar sits at the short end; a moulded carrier with a new tool and a custom colour box sits at the long end.

5 — Quality and inspection

Inspected before it ships, not after it lands

Every managed order is inspected at the factory before it leaves, against a sampling plan agreed with you in advance. Finding a defect in Guangzhou costs a rework; finding it in your warehouse costs the season.

Stage
What happens
Who sees it
Material and component check
Fabric, webbing, hardware and mould parts checked against the approved sample
Recorded in your order file
During production
First-article check once the line is running, so a systemic fault is caught at 10% not 100%
Flagged to you if it affects spec or date
Pre-shipment inspection
AQL sampling, typically AQL 2.5 for major and 4.0 for minor defects unless you specify otherwise
Full report with photographs, before you release the balance
Critical defects
Zero tolerance - sharp edges, small parts, choking hazards, squeaker retention on toy categories
Shipment is held until resolved
Carton and labelling check
Barcode, country of origin, carton marks and quantity per carton verified
Report included

You can also appoint your own third-party inspector. We will book the date and give them access.

6 — Compliance and testing

Two different things, kept apart on purpose

Existing test reports

Reports already held for a given product or material, which we can send you before you order. Where a report exists, you get the certificate number and the issuing laboratory, and you are free to verify it directly.

Available testing options

Tests we can arrange for your order at your cost – for example REACH, CPSIA, EN 71-3 migration, phthalate or azo-dye screening. Arranging a test is not the same as holding a report, and we will never describe it as though it were.

7 — Packaging, artwork and IP

Your artwork, your rights

What we keep on file for you

One order file per programme, so a repeat run starts from the record rather than from memory.

8 — Shipping and delivery

Delivered to the location you nominate

We consolidate your SKUs into one shipment, handle export documentation and deliver duty-paid to the location you designate. Door-to-door is available in some regions; where it is not, the quotation says so and names the delivery point instead.

What we do

What we do not do

Title and risk pass at the point set by the Incoterm named in your quotation.

9 — Claims, shortages and remedies

If something is wrong, tell us with evidence and we fix it

Questions we get asked

Before the first order

Why is there no price list on the site?

Because any number we published would be wrong for most of the people reading it. Unit cost in this category swings with material, construction, size, print method, packaging and quantity. We would rather spend ten minutes on your specification and send a quotation that holds.

For a stock product with no customization we can sometimes work below it, and it is worth asking. For anything with your logo, your colour or your packaging, 100 pieces per product is the practical floor – below that the set-up cost per unit stops making commercial sense for you.

Not for a stock sample – you cover the shipping and any duty your country raises. A custom sample is built to your spec and is charged, with 70% up front.

You are, as the importer. What we owe you is the documentation to make that judgement: material declarations, the test reports that exist, and a straight answer about the ones that do not. We will tell you when a product needs a registration we cannot hold on your behalf.

We can prepare goods to FBA requirements – FNSKU labels, polybag suffocation warnings, carton limits and marks – and deliver the shipment to the location you nominate. We do not run fulfilment or ship individual orders out of your store.

They stay yours. Specifications, artwork, tooling drawings and sample records are held confidentially, are never used on another buyer’s order, and are returned or destroyed on request.

Send us the specification and we will send the quotation

Tell us the product, the quantity and the market. You will get a quotation sheet with the MOQ, lead time, packaging options and the documentation that comes with the order.
