Custom Lightweight Step-In Harness for Private Label & Wholesale
Steps on in seconds — the format that dominates the no-pull category on major marketplaces.
Product Overview
A step-in harness is the format that wins on marketplaces, and the reason is friction: the dog stands in it, two buckles close over the back, and the walk starts. No lifting a strap over a nervous dog's head. Lightweight polyester and quick-release buckles keep it simple enough that there is very little to go wrong or to return.
For a seller, the attraction is low unit cost against high search volume in the no-pull category. It is the item that gets a new brand its first reviews. Colourway, a printed logo and the header card are the usual customisations, and the low packed weight makes it one of the cheapest products in the range to ship.

Who This Product Suits
No-pull specialists
Harnesses are bought to solve a problem rather than to decorate, so a brand that can explain its front-clip geometry competes on substance instead of price.
Ecommerce and DTC
Higher average order value than collars and a natural bundle partner with a matching lead, which lifts basket size without extra ad spend.
Working and tactical brands
Molle panels, handles and load-rated hardware serve a customer who will pay for capability and replaces gear on wear.
Pet retail chains
A single architecture across four or five sizes covers most of the shelf, and the fitting range is easy for staff to explain.
Safety & Compliance
Existing test reports
No third-party test report is currently on file for this product, so we do not describe it as certified.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We start at 100 pieces. The real figure moves with the specification - a colour change sits at the low end, while a custom mould, a bespoke size ladder or a new material needs more volume to be worth running. Your exact MOQ is confirmed in the quotation rather than guessed at here.
How do we size a harness range for our market?
Harness sizing works from chest girth, not weight, even though most listings quote weight because shoppers know it. We recommend publishing both: girth in centimetres as the real specification and a weight band as a guide. We can build the size ladder around the breeds that actually sell in your market.
Can you change the hardware and webbing?
Yes. Buckle type and plating, D-ring position and load rating, webbing width, padding thickness and the reflective trim are all open. Changes to a moulded buckle may carry a tooling cost, which we quote separately and state plainly before you commit.
Can we see a sample before we commit?
Yes, two ways. If the item is a stock design you pay the shipping only, with any customs charges billed at cost. For a customised sample we need about 15 days to build it, with 70% of the sample cost up front and the balance on approval. The approved sample becomes the production standard.
Can you test the load rating?
A tensile and hardware pull test to an agreed load can be arranged before shipment at an agreed cost. No third-party report is on file by default, so we do not publish a load figure we have not had verified for your specific build.
How do you check quality before shipment?
Every order is inspected to an agreed AQL standard before it leaves the factory, and you get a written report with photographs. Because we are a sourcing manager rather than a single factory, the inspection is independent of whoever produced your goods.
