Custom Heart & Paw Zinc Alloy Tag for Private Label & Wholesale
An affordable decorative piece that works as a holiday gift-set component.
- Zinc alloy
- Glitter resin inlay
- Nickel plating
- Steel split ring
Product Overview
Heart and paw shapes in plated zinc alloy are the affordable decorative tags that fill out a gift set. They are inexpensive enough to include as an add-on and recognisable enough to sell on their own at holiday season.
Shape library, plating finish and engraving are specified per order; existing tooling covers the common shapes, and a bespoke shape is quoted as a one-off. Plating thickness is what determines how the tag looks after six months, so it is specified in the quotation rather than left to the factory's default.

Who This Product Suits
Personalisation programmes
Tags are the strongest personalisation category we carry: a made-to-order item with almost no size or fit risk, and the easiest margin a pet brand can add.
Ecommerce and marketplaces
Tiny, light and cheap to ship worldwide, which makes them viable in markets where freight would kill a bulkier product.
Add-on at checkout
A natural attachment sale alongside a collar or harness, and one that raises order value without another ad impression.
Groomers and vet clinics
Counter-top impulse purchase, often engraved on the spot, with repeat demand as details change or tags are lost.
Safety & Compliance
Existing test reports
No third-party test report is currently on file for this product, so we do not describe it as certified.
Packaging & Shipping
| Retail packaging | Polybag as standard; header card, hang tag or colour box to your artwork. |
|---|---|
| Inner / export carton | Carton quantity and gross weight are confirmed in your quotation, against your chosen packaging. |
Freight and DDP landed cost are calculated per destination and volume, and are quoted with your enquiry rather than published here.
MOQ, Samples & Lead Time
| Minimum order quantity | Reference MOQ: 100 pcs |
|---|---|
| Option A - stock sample | Where the item is a stock design, you pay the shipping only. Any customs or clearance charges at your end are billed at cost. |
| Option B - custom sample | For a customised sample we need about 15 days to build it, with 70% of the sample cost payable up front and the balance on approval. Shipping is paid by you, and any customs charges are billed at cost. |
| Lead time | Mass production runs 1 to 3 months after sample approval, depending on how complex the product is. The exact date is confirmed in your quotation. |
Final MOQ depends on the model, material, colour, logo and packaging specification. The minimum per model or colour is confirmed in your quotation. Mixed sizes, colours and models are subject to confirmation. Production lead time is quoted separately from shipping time.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We start at 100 pieces. The real figure moves with the specification - a colour change sits at the low end, while a custom mould, a bespoke size ladder or a new material needs more volume to be worth running. Your exact MOQ is confirmed in the quotation rather than guessed at here.
Can you engrave our end customers names?
Yes. Tags take variable laser engraving, so every piece can carry a different name and phone number. Tell us whether you want us to engrave against a data file you supply, or ship blank tags for you to engrave locally - many brands do the second so they can offer same-day personalisation.
Which material should we choose?
Stainless steel is the default: hard-wearing, takes a clean engraving and does not tarnish. Brass suits a heritage or premium look and develops a patina. Silicone is the quiet option - it will not clink against a bowl, which matters to a surprising number of buyers.
Can we see a sample before we commit?
Yes, two ways. If the item is a stock design you pay the shipping only, with any customs charges billed at cost. For a customised sample we need about 15 days to build it, with 70% of the sample cost up front and the balance on approval. The approved sample becomes the production standard.
Are these tested for nickel release?
No report is on file by default, so we do not describe them as certified. Nickel release testing to EN 1811 can be arranged before shipment at an agreed cost, which is worth doing for metal tags sold into the EU or UK.
