Custom Japanese Kiln-Glaze Ceramic Slow Feeder for Private Label & Wholesale
No two glaze finishes are identical, which is precisely what justifies ceramic pricing.
- Kiln-glazed ceramic
- Silicone anti-slip mat
- No two glaze finishes identical
- Dishwasher safe
- Lead and cadmium testing per glaze
Product Overview
Kiln-transmuted glaze is unpredictable by design - the colour shifts in the firing, so no two bowls come out identical. That variation is the product. It is what lets a ceramic feeder sit at three or four times the price of a stamped steel one, and it photographs beautifully, which matters more in this category than in almost any other.
The form is an elevated slow feeder, so it slows eating and raises the bowl off the floor in one piece. Glaze colour can be matched to a reference within the natural variation of the process, and a stamped mark on the base is the customisation most brands choose because it survives the firing.

Who This Product Suits
Premium retail
Ceramic and stainless read as quality in a photograph in a way plastic does not, which supports a higher shelf price in a boutique or department store.
Ecommerce and DTC
Slow-feeder and elevated formats sell on a stated benefit - eating pace, neck posture - so the listing can argue a reason to buy rather than compete on price.
Gift and homeware
Bowls cross over into homeware, where finish and colourway matter more than pet-specific features.
Distributors
Steady replacement demand, and a category customers buy in pairs or sets rather than singly.
Safety & Compliance
Existing test reports
No third-party test report is currently on file for this product, so we do not describe it as certified.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
We start at 100 pieces. The real figure moves with the specification - a colour change sits at the low end, while a custom mould, a bespoke size ladder or a new material needs more volume to be worth running. Your exact MOQ is confirmed in the quotation rather than guessed at here.
How do you protect ceramic in transit?
Ceramic ships in a moulded pulp or foam insert inside a double-wall carton, and we set the carton quantity to keep the stack height safe rather than to save a few cents on cardboard. Breakage is quoted and handled openly - tell us your destination and we will set the pack accordingly.
Can you match a glaze colour or print our logo?
Glaze colour can be matched to a reference, though a kiln glaze will always vary slightly piece to piece - that variation is the look, not a defect. Logos go on as a fired decal, a debossed mark in the mould, or a printed base. A new mould carries a tooling cost, quoted separately.
Can we see a sample before we commit?
Yes, two ways. If the item is a stock design you pay the shipping only, with any customs charges billed at cost. For a customised sample we need about 15 days to build it, with 70% of the sample cost up front and the balance on approval. The approved sample becomes the production standard.
Are these food-safe for the EU or US market?
No test report is on file by default, and we will not describe them as food-safe certified without one. Heavy-metal migration testing for ceramic glaze, LFGB or FDA food-contact testing, and stainless grade verification can all be arranged before shipment at an agreed cost.
